We're proud to say that the Class of '99 has the lowest mortality rate of any graduating class in Sunnydale history.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Huh. I work in an environment where I can tell my boss that I'm more man than he is, and he'll laugh and say I'm right. This is very weird.

Also, I have to go home. Phone, stop ringing. Tablet, stop playing the Knight Rider theme music.

Because books.

yummy cream of crab soup. And a pastry for later.

Mmmm. God, that sounds good.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Food porn! We are having spagetti squash with Ragu doctored up with onions, garlic, and venison sausage. I hauled a bunch of firewood and the SO built the fire. Seabiscuit is aggressively snuggled up to me because until the fire gets going it is chilly in here.

Had our last day of classes today. Mixed feelings about it, but one of our little, formerly recalcitrant, students successfully played "Long, Long Ago" and we gave out Hot Wheels for correct music theory question answers. So I'm calling it a win.

I'm in denial that I'm getting on a plane tomorrow. I'm half-assedly packed, house is kind of a disaster, I'm still planning on shoehorning in a swim in the morning. And I don't feel like doing anything more tonight. HAHAHA.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

My, isn't this a pretty knife? I have one kind of like it. It doesn't have the clip, and it's a bit squarer.

Someone else get one? So I can live vicariously through them?

That clip doesn't look usable. The geometry is wrong.

I also have a knife of similar design: [link] . Is it the same as the one you have?

Yup, dcp, except not with the black. I likes. Pretty.

I'm currently tempted by this one: [link]

That's a nice one, dcp. I think I'd like it better with the blue highlights in pewter, though. I'm not a colouriffic chick.

Okay, I would like every Buffista (boys included) who wears dress shorts to 'fess up. Anyone who thinks they're appropriate evening wear, raise your virtual hand.

We'll have an intervention, and we'll save you.

Come on. You're not alone. We can help you.

I wore them... in 1980-something. I would not now. I was a preteen, that's the best excuse.
