And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

OK that makes much more sense.

But yeah, what Jess said.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Steph, I think all of those women are out of line! But since I'm a non-touchy person, I take touching seriously.

My mother and I still scream about a family friend touching my father's face in the middle of a conversation, years ago.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Yep.

And ita !, I would totes tell D someone found him attractive, because that's nice for him to hear. On 2nd thought -- depends on context, on whether person saying it would freak him out.

But I have total faith in him, so...

Tep, in that sitch, I'ma strip down, dive gracefully in the pool and do my best "My tits are awesome AND REAL, back down, don't make my man uncomfortable or try to get in his face" thing. Because I'm protective and bitchy like that.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Hugs on greeting I am cool with. Playful punching, slinging an arm around a shoulder, playful bumping also. Hand on my dude's knee for a prolonged period while engaging in intense conversation and I go to alert mode.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Heh. I would have a nervous breakdown at the prospect of skinny-dipping in mixed company, so that was never an option. I'm protective as hell, but...no way.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

io9 has an article about revoking the Avastin approval for breast cancer that makes it sound like the drug was first approved EVER in 2008, when in fact it was first approved in 2004 for colorectal cancer. I KNOW THIS. I TEACH IT. GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT OR MAKE IT CLEAR.

There was a time when I thought about getting an account, but the commenting system now looks really weird and confusing.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm not gonna lie...I'd tell E either way. (Ok, not if it was like, his boss or something. Or one of my sisters. But if it was going to be a funny freakout, definitely yes.)

Skinny dipping is the best. I want it to be summer again.

Depends on the company, Tep. Or how pissed I was.

Close friends; man, I've flashed them SO many times, it doesn't really matter at this point.

And guys, I went to the doctor on wednesday (she approved an up dosage on my sleep meds cocktail -- MAD relief! It WORKS! It's MAGIC!) and I've lost 27 pounds since June.

Course, I would have stripped down before the 27 lb. loss, but YNudityMMV.

Gotta go do errands in the CRAZY WINDY DAY! Wish me a good price on a bone-in ham!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, you guys, I have to confess something. I learned this morning that the "promotion" at least one of my coworkers got didn't come with any money attached. So in my petty heart, that made me feel better.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

G was a skank ho. Knowing she wanted into D's pants didn't bother me in the least. Telling D she wanted into his pants...well, if he wanted into her pants in return, I was okay with it being over between us, because that was a really unattractive thing to do. I like spreading the truth.

Speaking of the truth--Polter Cow, sign up for an IO9 account and post your correction to the pharmacology article and I'll approve it for you. Don't sit on the facts, yo.
