Sorry. I got big time distracted.

Good on you Tommy. That was a brave and good thing to do.
So my doc is taking me off Generic Zoloft and putting me on Celexa. She is my GP, not a psychiatrist She said just stop taking Z and start with half a C for 6 days, then go to a whole. Does that sound right? Steph?
How much Z are you currently on? Cold turkey off an AD is not generally a good idea...
(which made me realize that I've got a headache b/c I accidentally skipped *my* dose of generic Zoloft today. whoops.)
yeah, but if msbelle's going straight from one AD to another, that's not cold turkeying; they're both SSRI's, right?
NOT A DOCTORB!
Maybe it's okay if you're starting something else right away, though? But I agree with smonster -- it's a little odd not to taper off. What's the dose of Celexa, if you don't mind me asking? Because half depends on what the whole is.
I had brain zaps for a while when I went cold turkey off of Z, which I think is fairly common, but Celexa is an SSRI, too, right? Maybe that's why no tapering? Plus dosage might work differently. (ETA: I'm all x-posty)
No idea why I'm talking since I don't really know.
ION, I need to pack! But not tonight.
100 mg of Z, and 40 mg of C, so half dose is 20.
Okay, the half dose is what I started on. I don't know how it relates to the Zoloft, but doing that for a week should be fine if you stop the other.
Some ADs you don't need to taper off. Ion, just had dinner. Now i have a vodka tonic.
I got a letter from the IRS saying "we were wrong, you are right, you don't owe us any money". YAYAY!!!
And apparently KCD got a letter from the IRS today saying "you owe us a crap ton of money". Both letters were for the same tax year so I guess they looked at his after I sent in my documentation. I'll probably be nice and review the letter and his taxes for him. I think I even prepared his taxes for him that year. Don't remember.
