We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

What Pix said. You stood up, and not many people do.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Yay meara!

You may not change that guy, but you never know who was listening and what impact that will have. You’re a good guy.

Indeed, this is true. A lot of the payoff for getting into internet arguments is not to convince the other party, but to convince the lurkers.

Had a long meeting with two geriatric care managers about my folks this afternoon. That was fun. Oy.

Would that more people.

OK, this is TMI for me, but I am having the most anomalous period ever. I'm guessing it is the combo of headcold, antibiotics, mucinex, sudafed and aspirin for the past MONTH. Quite the cocktail. But cramps on day 4, not day 1? No usual warning signs? Really?

But the drugs seem to be eliminating the sinus infection and a secondary ear infection. So that's good, if it is doing weird shit to my gut. This is the longest I've ever dealt with a headcold in ages. It was only truly wipe-out for a few days, but the lingering ick is tiresome.

Which reminds me, time for my next dose of sudafed.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

tommyrot: what Pix said. You go, gi...guy!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Thanks. The guy was just an asshole. Just got louder and louder, kept saying it's a free country and he could do what he wanted. Then he started insulting the other guy. So i started videoing him. He told me to stop. I told him it was a free country and I could do what I wanted. For once he didn't know what to do and was quiet.

brillig

I told him it was a free country and I could do what I wanted.

They're always so boggled to have it turned back on them.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Yes, definitely. I'm sorry it was weird and stressful, but that's why most people don't speak up, and why what you did was a good thing. Just echoing what Pix and everyone else said, but yeah, awesome.

And I hope the rest of your trip makes up for the beginning!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Totally echoing Pix.

kept saying it's a free country and he could do what he wanted.

Well, the speech is free. The sexual harassment less so.

You did an awesome thing. And maybe that guy won't change, but other people might.
