Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Because books.

I just got back from the massage and I feel totally stoned. Maybe one day I'll be rich so I can do that EVERY DAY.

Mr. Flowersocks made me all melty. That's a good guy, right there.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Mr. Flowersocks made me all melty. That's a good guy, right there.

Yep. That's really sweet, Holli. Sounds like he recognizes a quality woman.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm catching up on Grey's right now, and I think I have to give this show up. A Spina Bifida storyline in my mindless television is a bit too much for me.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Liese, that's...not funny, but I have to admit I laughed a little. Goin' to hell...

The horse thing...that's straight up fucked. Putting a horse down; yes, ok. Happens a ton in the country -- a bullet is way cheaper and easier than a vet visit, if you're poor.

Eating a horse -- done for hundreds of thousands of years, though, hey? Can you not afford a burger?

Rolling around naked in its corpse to feel "at one" with it? Guys, next time, spring for the GOOD mushrooms...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The Grey's/Private Practice combo generally makes me at least cry a little, between the Alzheimer's in the one and the wanting to have a baby before it's too late in the other.

Because books.

The horse story is freaking me out. More than ita's weird foot-with-heel link from last week, even.

Wow, I am totally loopy. Endorphins = good stuff.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Not looking at the pics, nope.

Not looking at the pics, nope.

Yeah, don't.

I don't get some people. Quite a lot of them, actually.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Good luck with the phone interview, Jen.

Yeah, I'm on board with a lot of weirdness, but rolling around in a horse carcass—for whatever reason—seems like a bit much.

Because books.

Interview~ma, Jen! And fingers crossed, too.
