Choose Your Own Adventure: A Day at the Office
This is, by a wide margin, the funniest thing you will see on the Internet today. The great cartoonist Caldwell Tanner has made a Choose Your Own Adventure Novel for those of you who dream of the excitement of office life. The Boss wants his document yesterday. Why haven’t you printed it? There are thirty pages and six possible endings to this story. See if you can survive.
was Limbaugh doing a show this morning about a college student saying she needed $1000/year for contraception and then going on a really illogical argument about that meaning she's have sex 1000 times? It heard that convo on a local station trying to get a traffic report and almost flipped out. They were saying that condoms cost a buck each, so for her contraception to be costing $1000 a year it meant that she was having sex 1000 times a year. WTF? condoms? really? not the most common contraception used by women.
If I had a dollar for every guy I've heard speculate that the reason menstrual cycles are 28 days long is because in the old days women needed moonlight to leave the cave and "do it" at night....I would be a significantly wealthier woman that I am today.
...I don't even understand what this could possibly mean. (Am I better off not knowing? Probably.)
Ye gods, I am not looking forward to driving five hours through tomorrow's projected severe weather/tornadoes. UGH, they make me so nervous.
That Choose Your Own Adventure is awesome, but Jilli should beware -- I just ended up
dead from spiders.
Huh. I defeated the day. Cool.
msbelle well knows Fillion is down for random shit for his fans, so I can't really even get into a fake reaction to him shirking his celeb duties. All my reflexes say nay.
Also, she had too many emotions for me.
My sister asked me yesterday why my mother being sick would have made any difference at work. I just spent 45 minutes on the phone with Mumsy, and I think I may have worked it out on a facile level at least. She needed me to step up my game, at the very least in terms of being a good support person. She needed me chipper and pleasant and all that stuff, and I didn't turn it off when I went to work in the morning.
It's not coming from nowhere, some parts of my life are dead now, but I suspect my sister has blabbed about that, and my mother does seem to be feeling bad about that. Which is totally not her job. Her job is to laugh at my jokes. Which she did, so I am pleased.
Man, I wish my doctor had called the pharmacy after he spoke to me. He's my GP and he's very responsive compared to...well...anyone. But he didn't need to wait until tomorrow to tell them to fill the script. Less sleep for me tonight.
it's because Nathan has the feelings for me (even though he doesn't acknowledge them).

That makes a lot of sense.
Man, I almost literally cannot believe how insane the Republicans are.
