I think the fact that she didn't talk about it herself here is sort of a clue. But that said, I've already listened to "Going to the Chapel" this morning.
ita, I'm so sorry about the pain this morning.
msbelle, go being responsible! Also slipcovers. I need one of those for the sofa. Dumb cats. And kids, honestly.
I would suggest not scooping someone else's news, just on general principles.
ION, I'm looking at the adult ed center here and thinking about food classes. Each of these is about the same amount of money for a single session, so I can't decide: Pairing wine and cheese, Mexican street food with a local restaurant chef, or making dinners for your freezer. Obviously the last one is the most practical. But maybe I should do the more fun one??
I think the Mexican street food one sounds fun. And also practical! You could always freeze that stuff, too, if you wanted.
It is POURING rain here. Blech.
Ugh, I'm going to have to head home - my migraine is messing up my vision enough that I can't resd text to style it as I'm pouring pages. I hste that I'm going to blow a deadline on the last dsy when I was on track to meet it as of last night. (but I'd hate turning in dozens of psges with parts of words randomly italicized a lot more...)
Given that you're randomly throwing esses in where as should go means that's probably a wise choice. I wish I could emulate you, Matt.
However, having been chosen "MVP" for this fucking project, I'm stuck here until at least 6. If I'm rude. And I turned over my bag on the way out of the apartment, and apparently I didn't get all my meds stuffed back into it. So that's a suck.
So, when I woke up I couldn't find my glasses. So I'm wearing my contacts. . .which is fine expect for reading or knitting. . . therefore, I am giving myself a headache in addition to my other stressiness. (Which include a sore back. Grr argh.)
Sorry to Juliana for good wishes before their time.
Reading that New Yorker article: I'm not going to want to re-read the Lad: a Dog books anytime soon, am I?
I'm looking at the adult ed center here and thinking about food classes.
Tim and I are doing an Indian cooking class for 2, where we learn to make 5 dishes as well as our own paneer. And I think they send us home with a DVD so we don't forget stuff. I am THRILLED and can't wait.
You guys are right and Mexican street food sounds the best. I somehow feel like wine and cheese is the best value, but clearly that is ridiculous.
Stop working, Matt!
