Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Sending good surgery vibes to Gracie!

And thanks for the condolences everyone. I may be changing my board name eventually. Right now it's nice to see her name there.

I would very much like to hug Burrell and spend the day doing nothing but lounging and having comfort food. Why can't that be your day?

I would love to spend the day like that, msbelle! Might need to be virtual lounging however as I have three major work projects all falling on me right now.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Much ~ma for Grace today.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yeah, in Tropic Thunder his blackface was angled quite a bit as a comment on people who might wear blackface. RDJ's character is a super-intense actor famous for disappearing into his characters, and it's understood that he's a white guy wearing black makeup and that's fucked up. Similarly Ben Stiller's character playing a mentally disabled character is mocked as a blatant Oscar bid. It's more about actor vanity, pretension and cluelessness.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Even I know to never go full retard.

I should probably get over to Netflix.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

The SO has gone out driving again to check the roads to see if we're going in to school or not. The local school district is closed for today and we're expecting snow through 3 this afternoon. But the roads up by our school look not to bad, so I suspect it's basically, if he can get out of our neighborhood, we're on.

Which means I'd better get the pot roast in the cooker.

Condolences Burrell. Clearly you and msbelle should come hang out with me today. Plan is pool. Then beach. Many books, and food.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I should probably get over to Netflix.

You should! I thought Tropic Thunder was hilarious, and I ended up seeing it in the theater twice.

and then SDJ in there makes no sense.

I guess it's because he used to do it on SNL back in the day? One of the comments did point out Fred Armisen as Obama. Has that come under criticism? I mean, I'm sure it has.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

No decannulation. Just another order for an endless round of surgeries.
