I just saw the Kimmel video and that's the very kind of thing that should open the Oscars. For real.
It was funny.
Am I a bad person for wanting to pop some popcorn and read through all of the archives of the "This Is Not Goth" tumblr for the dramalolz? The person who runs it has a pretty good eye - I've never quibbled with anything she's called out as being tagged "goth" that shouldn't be, but there are hordes of people very annoyed at her. Partially because she's a babybat - she's 15, bless.

Thanks, Allyson.
All dressed and ready to go now. Feh. Running late. Make-up looks kick-ass, though. Ah, well.
I like the Grantland articles and SELECTED podcast episodes, but the comments are just ick.
Dammit, I started reading the comments. I'd have been better served looking at the tits with marker scratchings instead. Good god. Just...live your life without dressing up as a black person. Was that so hard? Deny yourself TWO THINGS. Calling minorities by historically hurtful terms, and dressing up as minorities in historically hurtful ways. All the other facets of your privilege are still untouched. GO NUTS.
Because, if you think you're Chris Lilley, you're probably really really mistaken.
I enjoy the comments on the Liberal-For-Utah local paper, but I really should get a tattoo that says Thou Shalt Not Read Comments.
Fuck cancer.
A former co worker's son (who is 7 or 8) was diagnosed with cancer last year, before I left my job. They didn't catch it early.
He's had chemo and radiation and a bone marrow transplant and everything seemed to be going well except lately he's been spiking fevers. And the doctors thought the cancer was gone.
But it's back and he can't have chemo or radiation and while his doctor are looking for trial treatments, I don't know if there's anything they can do.

I love Grantland but I mostly read it at work, where they've disabled Javascript so badly that I didn't even know there were comments at Grantland.
Erm, yay?
