Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Aw, I like that dad way better than the dad who shot his daughter's laptop.

I was going to say Tracie Thoms for Lizzy but she's also, like, 37.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I like that dad's daughter better than the daughter who got the laptop shot. I like the dads about evenly.

Two Hunger Games TV spots: [link] I think the first one spoils a reveal (what Katniss chooses to do to impress the judges before the Games) that I felt like should have stayed secret, for some reason.

And it tipped me over into buying the second one. I'd just borrowed it at the time. But I had to look up the initial description of Finnick to quote scripture to explain why it couldn't be Bomer or Cavill. Come on, now. They're pretty, but.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Between Hunger Games, Brave and Legend of Korra this is going to be a good year for strong women warrior characters.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Ohhhh, thank you, dcp. I remember Venus kissing the moon way back in college, and everyone running out to the quad to see them together. So happy to get to see them again, this time with Jupiter getting in on the action (Emmett, who is a big fan of the night sky and the visible planets, is also very, very happy).

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Opinion and shoe help needed: I have a pair of shoes where my heel slips out of the heel cup. I can't get the next size down because then it would kill my toes. Is there a way to fix heel slippage in shoes?

Like these (although I've never seen designer shoe inserts before; I think the brand I always found was Dr. Scholl's): [link]

Or this link shows you (in the second picture) how they go in the heel part of your shoe: [link] (although I think you would have figured it out anyway, since you're a smart cookie).
