When we landed here you said you needed a few days to get space worthy again and is there somethin' wrong with your bunk?

ita, does it have to be one piece, or is two (sheath and blouse) ok?

(OK, dunno how you'd feel about the feathery fringey on the dress)

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

He keeps saying that Obama's "demanding that we pay for someone else's birth control." I think the we = taxpayers but I don't know.

He could mean that we = people in the insurance pool. But that's how insurance works. We pay for (some of) other people's birth control, child birth medical expenses, lab work, diabetes treatment, broken bones, illnesses, accidents, and the wear and tear from living and aging. If we start narrowing it down by what every person involved approves of, only vegans that spend their entire lives alone on well-padded treadmills in the middle of a hermetically sealed living environment with filtered everything will qualify.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I'm not surprised that I'm having anxiety dreams about broken teeth, because I have so much work to do that I feel like I'm ignoring something critical no matter what I'm getting done.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's a gorgeous dress, Jilli, but I am looking for something that will cover my portacath, ergo the sheer blouse over. None of the ones meara linked to quite pinged it, but that's definitely the sort of thing that was in my head.

The red dress you linked to is lovely meara, but I'd get distracted trying to resolve matching the blouse with the fringe. I'm not sure how I'd make peace with that.

Good god, my head really hurts. Like, I really want to throw up right now. Ugh.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

He could mean that we = people in the insurance pool.

As a single person who has no regular healthcare expenses, I say: You're welcome!

Ditto to people who have children in public schools, drive on highways, etc.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

So I'm paying for Jesse to get Jiggy with it?

I can deal with that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That last dress is beautiful, meara, and perfect in its simplicity.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am paying for everyone! I barely use healthcare, and I have never not had insurance.
