The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I wouldn't pay that much for it, but I kind of love this dress [link]

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's a very cute dress, but a very high price.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

That's a great dress!

Guess what? My hair is long enough to need to buy ponytail holders! Also, you know those little headband thingies that are just a strip of elastic? Does that not ride up in the back under normal people's hair? Is it just that my hair is so fine, or that the little weird batwing things at my nape are wreaking havoc?

Elastic headbands don't work for me but it's been too long since I tried wearing one for me to remember what the problem was.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have that issue, Liese. But also the fine hair.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I think it is a fine hair thing. My BFF, who has fine hair, has that problem, but they wrk really well for me, and my hair is superthick and heavy. In fact, I wear them almst daily.

meara - Feb 20, 2012 2:17:00 pm PST #23004 of 30001

They do that to me too, Liese. But my hair is not fine. It may be the size of my head--they also always give me headaches, so I rarely wear them, and wear a bandana instead (which also sometimes slips upward, but less)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Headbands tend to slip off my head, and my hair isn't fine, either. But, like meara, they also give me headaches, so I figure that they're just too tight.
