And the thing is, I like my evil like I like my men: evil. You know, straight up, black hat, tied to the train tracks, soon my electro-ray will destroy metropolis BAD.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

If you don't think he got into the garage and he doesn't seem to be in the kitchen or dining room, maybe it wasn't him you heard - I hear neighbor's cats meowing piteously outside m y house way more than I hear my own. The most likely place for him to hide would be back in the room he's used to, I'd think.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Cat (and I was lying about the Houdini) just strolled by me on the way to his room, which YAY, but also damnit, because now I don't know where his hiding place was.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

That little bastard. I hope Dita isn't taking notes.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I am picturing him giving you a little cat smirk a he walked by.

Because books.

But if he came out -- especially now, being so new to you -- chances are whenever he's hiding there again, he'll come out, too.

This is his second day in your house? He's wise in the feline arts.

They did warn me he was a very smart cat. I will have to remember this when it is vet time.

Pretty much, yes.

Seriously. I am a little afraid of what he and Dita will come up with once they are friends.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Cats indeed. Dogs at least do not go missing in the same way.

Things accomplished: called the plumber, cleaned the dishes, clipped the dog's nails. On to the brake light, bah.
