Oh my god. What can it be? We're all doomed! Who's flying this thing!? Oh right, that would be me. Back to work.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

"Is the cold air from Hell freezing over supposed to soothe headache pain?"

Having her sit across from her sister and say that her sister's cancer would be cured by the same thing was "all" I needed in terms of talking back.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Also, you know, Rapunzel's Prince is thrown out of the tower and has his eyes put out on thorn bushes, and Rapunzel is sent to wander alone in the desert and bears twins.

Yeah, but she cries on his eyeballs and he's all better.

Asspull!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

forgive the cousin who threatened to have me deported and blackmailed my parents.

WHAFUCK??!!

Re: ruining fairy tales -- um, illiterate much? Man, I had the unbowdlerized version of Grimm's from 8 on and I KNEW that fair tales were...well, fucking GRIM.

Also, in one of the original Sleeping Beauties, she is woken by the suckling at her breast of the child Prince Rapey got on her while she was in a magical freaking COMA.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

No one remembers anymore that Disney didn't actually create these stories.

As much as I love Disney movies (while acknowledging the Disney versions are hugely flawed and problematic), I get frustrated with people who don't know about the roots of the stories. It's like the people who think faeries/fairies are all sweetness and light and magic helpful pixie dust. Ahahaha, no. Go read some folklore.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Allow me to contribute this comic: [link]

That's why I love urban fantasy. So many years of just having Emma Bull, and then my "No, fairies could be motherfuckers!" were all brought to fiction!

$5K, or I get your daughter tossed out of the country.

I can't really go into more detail without getting myself sick, but Allyson was a very good friend, screening my voicemails so I didn't have to listen to her psychotic screeds. She was a very ill woman, who probably ten years later has no idea she did anything wrong.

Two of her sisters reached out to me to apologise for her behaviour, but that doesn't excuse *her*.

In the simplest of terms, she hated me because I could do things she couldn't, and it drove her spittingly abusively insane. I hate armchair diagnosis by people who don't really know shit, but I throw Borderline Personality Disorder at her with no hesitation. Or Narcissistic. Or both. No one should hate me that much unless I killed their children (note: she was very preoccupied with how much her son liked me too).

Shit. I gave her too much of my time. Over now.
