Ugh -- I am almost done with my second trial copy edit, and it took me WAY too long, but I am still having to look up a lot of niggly stuff in the house style guide. I figure I'll get faster the more I do. And this author had quite a few anachronisms, so I had to look them up for citations, even though I KNEW they were wrong.

I was a bitchy neighbor yesterday. I asked my upstairs neighbor to stop dropping cigarette butts from their balcony down to my front porch and along our shared walkway. I tried to ask nice, but I felt bitchy.

You know, my cousin is an aesthetician at a salon up your way and I know she and her sister and my aunt all get their hair done there and they look terrific! I can find out where it is and if it would be at all convenient for you.
