For my birthday I bought an ebook of Lord of the Rings. I haven't really re-read it in years, and the only copies I can find are the falling-apart Ballantine paperbacks I stole from my oldest sister back in the 70s. They'd probably be worth something if I hadn't taped them together to keep reading them.
But now I have an electronic copy I can search and bookmark all the Dwarvish poetry without dog-earing pages etc. Though the maps are a bit tricky on my Nook's screen.
The better question might be who wouldn't want to go.

Indeed. I'd love to go, except I'm going to Spain the next week.
I'm trying to schedule a meeting with someone before I go to Spain, except the contract I'm hired under runs out on Feb 29, and I don't know when the next contract will start, and this guy wants to meet on Mar 2. I may just have to put it off until after I come back...
paralyzed with not caring.
ha!
Proud!Mama share - CJ has completed his probation and is an official regular member of his search and rescue team. It has been a long, challenging process and he has loved every minute of it.
That is awesome, Suzi! It is so good that he has something positive to channel his energies into.
Go, CJ! Tell him the invisible folk are also very proud.
Go CJ!
Sure! I vote Honolulu.
Heh. I'm trying to figure out--looks like Miami would be most expensive, but I think I might like it best (mmm, Cuban food) and my sister might be able to join me for a couple days. OTOH, Hawaii would obviously be nice...and Puerto Vallarta would be nice AND cheap (but while I had a good time last year, I'm less confident if alone, especially at night. And I hate weird Mexican toilets)
I vote Miami. (shocking, I know)
