So there is something I can do, besides scream like a woman?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Whoa. Being admitted to the hospital last night and getting the cocktails correctly meant I could come into the office today with nothing but normal Monday morning hesitation.

On my chair is a "WOW AWARD" for this weekend's deployment, a pin saying "I RADIATE PURE AWESOME" and...a $100 AmEx gift card.

(She called me MVP!)

I think I might wear the pin today...I'm toying with it...whoa.

Because books.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Wear the pin!

Art Crawl!!!

I think "rugged up" means wrapped up (warmly) because horse blankets in the UK and Australia are called rugs.

Wear the pin!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

You earned that pin.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Wear the pin, ride the wave of positivity!

I am glad at least that after your sucky weekend things are looking better at work. Thanks, universe for remembering (FOR ONCE) my "No Piling On My Friends" edict.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

And in less awesome, but still pretty good, news, Target [link] and Kroger [link] now offer $4 generic pet medications. Target apparently includes Mr Peabody's thyroid medicine.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Yay for recognition! (which I'm guessing they don't know your physical travails during, so doubly earned. )
