"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

51 percent of conservatives have an unfavorable opinion of Planned Parenthood's breast cancer screenings.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Wait, so, do they think women should get breast cancer screenings, just not at eeeveeeel Planned Parenthood? Because that somehow supports PP in killing babies? Surely they're not against breast cancer screening per se.

Thrive to spite them

That's the way my pro life anti PP relatives think. It's not the screenings, it's Planned Parenthood.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

See, the Ta-tas might get infected with nasty non-procreative Down There germs.

Damn, I just made myself throw up a little.

The reasoning is this - abortions is murder. Anyone who works at or supports Planned Parenthood is supporting child killers.

I know because one of my relatives posted a comment (a while back) celebrating the fact that several PP locations in their state were closing. It doesn't matter how many women PP actually helped it all came down to PP is evil for killing babies.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

despite the fact that PP's main function is NOT abortion?

like hospitals?

Because books.

There's a small Planned Parenthood clinic just a block and a half from me, and there are protesters out there most days with posters. It's generally senior citizens, but a lot of the posters are the extremely graphic photos of aborted fetuses. The school buses have been told not to drive down that block anymore.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I wasn't able to speak to Hot Inappropriately Young Guy today, but I did leave him a voicemail inviting him to Valentine's Day dinner (though I called it something far more snarky). We'll see how it goes.

As for dinner tonight, I just wasted far too much time discovering that ALL the Burger Kings in town are closed due to simultaneous remodelling. And since I don't feel like cooking something that wouldn't be ready until the middle of The Walking Dead, I'm having a TV dinner.

le nubian - I went to go look at the messages from facebook but I deleted them.

But from what I remember it doesn't matter what else Planned Parenthood does, they perform abortions, which makes them baby killers, which means anything they do is tainted by that. And anyone who supports them supports murder.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

It saddens me when I realize how black-and-white many people insist on painting the world. You'd think I'd be used to it by now.
