Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction. Zoe: We live in a space ship, dear. Wash: So?

Happy B-day Maria and Pix. The weather is lovely (if not cold) here, so I hope it is lovely where you both are.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Happy belated to -t! And happy birthdays to Maria and Pix!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Somehow my google calendar decided to switch a recurring reminder from every 4 weeks to monthly, every second Sunday. Why would they do that? Do they have a stake in my fertility?

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Why would they do that?

Boredom?

The status is NOT quo.

ita, I am so sorry.

And thanks, everyone, for the birthday wishes. ND is actually home and not working, so we are going to have a day of play. Whee!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

apparently I need to show them I'm taking my headache seriously.

...as opposed to...? Partying with it?

...as opposed to...? Partying with it?

I did that once with a migraine. It was actually not as bad as I worried--it was fairly dark and the noise helped me distract from the pain.

ita ! vs. the ER started out as annoying, but it's headed towards "nuke 'em from orbit." You have instructions from your doctor. You come in every weekend. It is all, one presumes, in a computer. Yet at least half the time, some sleep-deprived resident thinks he knows better.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Bon bon, I can't get Google calendar to do anything on an ever-four-week basis, which is annoying as hell, since my house cleaner comes on that schedule, without regard to what time in the month it is. So annoying: I have to go through the calendar by hand and enter the dates (so I don't forget to pick up around the house and leave a check for her).

ita, if I were King, or President of California, I would make them treat you in compliance with your pain management plan. And then I would kick them in the nuts. I don't understand why you have to go through this bullshit EVERY WEEKEND. WTF.

Anyone else remember a short-lived series called "The Peacemakers" that was basically CSI: Gunsmoke ? It was good.

Tom Berenger! I didn't watch it, but I remember that it was on for a season at most.

Happy birthday, -t, Pix, and Maria!

I have a lot to do today (reading, travel plans, cooking, laundry, house repair), but I really just want to sit with my feet up and drink a lot of tea.

Dana, I hope you're feeling better.
