There appears to be a snowpocalypse here andI have no coffe creamer or wine. I am on a bus going to the theatre, but both those things involve walking for a couple of miles and no one inRochester shoveles sidewalks.

I unthinkingly fastened my belt to the 5th notch this morning, which I think means my waist is down to 36". At least the flu seems to be leaving me with a parting gift that's actually worth something!

Last night I colored my hair, and had a blob of dye fall on the carpet. Then, when I was putting back my brush, I knocked my foundation off the shelf onto the floor, where the bottle broke and splattered foundation all over the place. Luckily I was in the bathroom, with the tiled floor, for that one. Somedays I am such a klutz...

Any one who is trying to rape me with actual or reasonably likely violence (gun, knife, etc.), I'm going to assume is also going to kill me during or after. There is no such concept as "unfair fighting" for someone who is smaller and weaker under those circumstances.
billytea, evidently some of those SE Asian pitcher plants that are big enough for vertebrates have an alternate adaptation for food-gathering -- the squirrels and monkeys and other small mammals use them as toilets!

Man, I did not sleep well last night. I had three decent nights in a row before that, though, so I can't complain too much. But I sure could use a nap.
