Nearest Costco to me is 32 miles, in Harrisonburg. I don't think I want it that bad. I never buy in bulk, anyway, I don't have room to store stuff.

Ha. Nearest grocery store to me of any kind is about 30 miles. Heck, nearest gas station is 30 miles!
Ha! Sometimes I dream about going back to a rural lifestyle and then I remember I like having stores within quick driving distance. Where I grew up, it was 30 minutes drive, partly on a one-lane gravel road, to get to a town with a Wal-Mart. Not that we ever went there.
Speaking of rural, ooh, they're grading my road today!
eta: And hey, it's better here; last place I lived it was closer to an hour to anything. You could get to the Chaco Canyon ruins site in less time.
Ooh, I hope it gets a 4.0!
I know! I think it will!
They actually do really well with the maintenance on our dirt roads here. They just laid new gravel on the road that had the worst flooding problems, so between that and my Pilot, I'm feeling pretty hopeful about accessibility this spring. It's county maintenance here since we're outside of any city boundaries. But there's a developer that's still pretty active about making sure things are right. I dunno what will happen when he finishes selling off all his lots, but at the rate things are going, that'll be decades more.
Amy, there's a Costco in King of Prussia.
1/2 way between Amy and Sox! Granted, I need to stop feeling so crappy first. But then I'm going to need to make a run.
