Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I needed to quote from The Princess Bride this week, and had to spend *so* much time searching my apartment to find out if I had it (I still haven't properly dealt with what books I lost in Katrina), that I feel I just want everything on my Nook right now. That's so much simpler. I didn't think I'd fall for the technology this hard.

But, my Princess Bride issue is now pleasantly resolved.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oo thanks for the reminder Suela, I should go to BevMo while the sale is on. It's pretty much the only time I get there.

Can anyone tell me what's the deal with Intelligensia coffee? I've tried it several times now and I don't think it's all that. Why is LA in love with Intelligensia? Oo, that also reminds me, if I want to get some good medium roast coffee I should order it from Dale.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Intelligentsia has made it to LA? Huh.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Dang. My coffee is not intelligent.

So do you understand the love, brenda? What am I missing?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I need to figure out if I want to reup my Costco membership. Not sure what would tip the scales for me.

Cheapest gas in town? Admittedly, that can't be the only reason; it's not worth $50.

There's a Costco near-ish to work, but not one that near to where I live. Even if I did the math to determine if driving extra to get the gas was worth it, I know I'm sufficiently lame that I won't do it.

Then again, I haven't started pumping premium yet...

The cheap gas is a compelling argument actually. As is the fresh fish, I ate a lot more of it when I was dropping by there on a regular basis. And the ginormagon bags of fresh, cook-at-home tortillas. And the booze.

sigh. Look at that list. My life is just one big trip to the grocery store, isn't it?

Oo, did I mention the beauty store near my house that now carries Zoya? So excited!

God, I love Shazam. I'm so out of touch with current releases, and I can just point my phone at the Act of Valor trailer and find out Eminem is still releasing stuff I like. Great for the old folks.

What made me think that the "do math" option on my alarm was a good idea? I was up an hour before it went off, and the addition was still irritating to make it shut up.

I go to Costco once a week or so, and not even the Burbank one, the Northridge one that is 25 miles away. I drove there from El Segundo during rush hour Thursday. I go there more frequently than the Ralphs that is 20 feet away. Incidentally, Consumer Reports rated it best among chains in this month's issue.
