have you heard this cover of "King of Wishful Thinking?"
I really like it.

From the files of Something I Read Once About Child Development From What I'm Pretty Sure Was A Reputable Source, gender permanence is a concept that sets in between 4-6 years old.
I have at home a documentary called A Child's World, Which discusses how and when kids develop concepts such as this, time awareness, differing perspectives, that kind of thing. It's really quite fascinating. I also have this book: [link] It was written by a neurologist, and covers a child's development over the first five years. It's really quite cool.
Oooh, neuroscience!
Your cat is making you crazy. I knew it.
Compared with uninfected people of the same sex, infected men were more likely to wear rumpled old clothes; infected women tended to be more meticulously attired, many showing up for the study in expensive, designer-brand clothing.
Aha! I am uninfected! They are making me crazy by other means.
Right? No way am I infected then.
S. is so cute, and so very behind the curve sometimes. He just sent me the link to Pinterest. "I don't know if you've heard of this site, but I think you might like it!"
Wait until S finds fanfic!
(tee hee)
Pretty sure I'm not driving into the office today, even though I promised the biker I would, because I want to see his leathers. He will give me some shit.
Oh, I educated him about fanfic a long time ago. Wincest took some explaining, I tell you what.
Much more pleasant dream this morning. I made a puppy out of magical papier mache and it turned into a snuggly Husky puppy. Puppy snuggles are much more pleasant than serial killers.
I dreamt we (effectively) turned into the Winchesters. I mean, it was a good adventurey dream, and then as a bonus "alarm's going to go off!" gift, suddenly my sister and I were Sam and Dean.
Not the most confusing of things to happen.
