I'm just, uh, just feeling kinda... truthsome right now. And, uh... life's just too damn short for ifs and maybes.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Huh. I thought that was just for brains.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ha, Seabiscuit just jumped up in my lap at my office desk, from which viewpoint he could see a coyote trotting past, casual as you please. So he is now growling and barking like mad at them. They're looking at us, but unconcerned. I can fill his heart beating like mad and his growl is guttural!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I was getting ready to put him outside, but now I think no. And I was going to take him with me to the little general store, but I think also no. He's going to go ballistic with me leaving into the vast dangerous world, though.
