We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Man, I can't get through to the 9th Circuit website: it must be slammed, and DailyKos & SFGate don't have a link to the decision.

Always Anti-fascist!

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals is totally who reactionaries mean here when they say "activist judges" if I had money, I think I would send them muffins every week. Arizona would be even more of a hellscape without them.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

10 days. Don't have a date for the surgery yet.

I can see why you want to be there for him, for you sister, for all of them. But as Kat pointed out already, being there to listen to everyone IS doing something.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Handel is a very ambitious anti-abortion politician, so I imagine she'll use all this in her next campaign as an example of how pro-abortion forces hate America.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Don't let the door hit you on your way out Handel. Fuck. You.

Yay 9th Circuit Court. I wonder if this goes to the Supremes next. I fear what happens then.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Dont know state of laser surgery in Jamaica. My Mom had laser cataract surgery when she was 80. Surgery itself was a 30 second painless laser blast. Recovery consisted of putting in drops for 3 weeks, wearing no-correction dark glasses. At the end of 3 weeks her eyes had settled into a new permananet form factor and she was able to be fitted with much lower strength new glasses. Don't know if it will be same for your Dad, but was pretty mild and she was pretty self sufficient for the whole recovery period.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The doctors used the term incapacitated to describe the ten day period, so until they change it, that's what I'm going with.
