Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I admit it's silly of me but I feel weird dating anyone who is more than a couple inches shorter or taller than me.

Weird or no, don't let it stop you from meeting her. My husband is 6' 2"

Those are cute dresses, Kat, and I bet they look great on you.

Ugh. Must go pack lunches. sigh. Day has begun.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

OK, next time you hear someone use the word "sheeple," you can send them this link:

Wake Up Sheeple

Art Crawl!!!

Ooh, Jason Wu! Good shopping-fu, Kat.

I was at knitting group during the Super Bowl. One of the ladies has the new Iphone and we used Siri to find out who was playing in the game.

We knitted and ate delicious oatmeal lace cookies- and then I came home and watched Downton Abbey (I can't believe Ser Jorah - he's such a bully and even though Lady Mary has also been that - nobody deserves that) and Luck and Spartacus.

Because books.

Damn it. I've been seeing the Jason Wu ads without paying any attention to when they would be in stores, and I was in Target yesterday and didn't even think to look. Such cute dresses.

The news about Josh Powell and his kids is horrifying.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think it is kind of incredible that even in this day and age, almost half of TVs were on the Super Bowl last night -- it got a 49.2 share.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I can't believe Ser Jorah

Bwahaha - DH and I have been watching the GoT DVDs and commenting on how that actor really can't get away from playing condescending douchebags in love with women who outrank him, can he?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

HEY COWORKERS, NOTICE MY HAIR.

Hmph.

(Of course now if anyone comments, I'll be paranoid that they're lurking...)

hip deep in pie

I can't believe Ser Jorah

That's why he looked so familiar!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That Jason Wu stuff looks great, and very Katty. I kinda wish I'd been paying more attention too, but I don't need clothes enough to be making an effort. So it's probably just as well, no matter how cute.

I don't think I have any French cuff shirts that go with the cufflinks I want to wear today. I can only find a black one with tiny white polka dots, and a black and white one with tiny stripes. Neither would look *excellent* with the pink skull and bones cufflinks, so I think I'm going to go tiny stripes and camera lenses.

If you missed the Souper Bowl on Grantland, the posts are hilarious even now, after it's done: [link]
