good financial news items (yes, more than one!) of the day:
I am going to be saving $700!!!!!! per month on health insurance.
New job also has a FSA for both medical and childcare. I can put away 100% of my childcare and probably 100% of my out of pocket medical. HOLY SHIT!
Also Also If I start rounding up my monthly mortgage payment I should be able to take over a year off of it and save a couple grand.
That's terrific, msbelle!
NICE!
I really should start putting more into the principle. But I'd like to restart saving again, first. I'm close.
I keep thinking I should try to pay extra/put some occasional savings towards principal. But then somehow knowing I'd pay it off in 28 years instead of 30 doesn't seem that exciting and it seems like SO much money....
That's great, msbelle.
I've been fighting the rib popping in and out thing too. The pain moves between the side and the back. I was told to ice.
I just want to drop the PMI.
Pumpkin plays with a really big ball: [link] I missed the most active part of it.
for the Downton Abbey people who were discussing how different they looked at the award shows:

That is great news msbelle.
Because of a really low mortgage rate, I've been paying my mortgage at an accelerated rate. And extra $30 biweekly for the last couple of years. In my renewal offer, the bank was estimating that I would pay off my mortgage in 18 years, not 25. It's surprising that it has reduced it by so much. Of course, my payments are about to go up because I no longer have the sweet rate, and because my taxes have gone up, so I won't be paying the accelerated rate again for a while.
