Timelies all!
Much ~ma to you and your family, Tom.
I'm not into pink. It's not a color that I look good in, and I've seen enough pink-themed items to be annoyed at the assumption that because I'm female I Must! Love! Pink! (At least that's the feeling I get. Ah, society.. where one must love "girly" stuff in order to be a Real Woman, but said stuff is often considered less important than "manly" things. Sigh...)
You really, really don't want to fly with a guitar in a gig bag. Remember the United Breaks Guitars guy?
Now I am stressed out. This shouldn't be hard. It's only about 26" and weighs like, less than five pounds.
I would think that pink would be a good color for you, Sheryl. But definitely not if you don't like it.
I didn't get into the super girly clothes until fairly recently. It is my method of balancing all the macho I am surrounded with on a daily basis. At least that is the best theory I can come up with.
It's Friday! What are people doing this weekend?
Tomorrow is haircut day and furniture delivery day and errand day, but Sunday I think is going to be try to find the joy in the house again day--I've been getting too bogged down in work and repairs and trying to stop the cat from freaking out to really enjoy it.
What are people doing this weekend?
Climbing, I think. And watching Fringe tonight. And laundry. All the usual stuff.
Oh, Tom. I am so sorry, love. I hope everything and everyone gets through this as intact as possible. Much love to you sweetheart.
Editing! Taxes! Cleaning up my desk! Cleaning out my car (maybe)! Cleaning up the kitchen!
Even with punctuation that doesn't sound very interesting :(
Taxes should be fun with all the extra complications of being laid off and starting the new job and all that stuff that entails like the stock options and unemployment. OTOH, I ironically earned far more income than last year.
What are people doing this weekend?
Seeing
Arcadia
tonight and a sketch show tomorrow. Sunday is the
Jurassic Park
liveblog and the Super Bowl. And somewhere in there I have to finish scenes to submit for
Act One, Scene Two.
Tom, a million hugs and a nice pint of beer. Jaysus.
I got one W-2 in, but not the other, so I guess I need to make a call. I could start on my taxes, but seems silly without all the info.
So, this weekend will be ironing 5 outfits, cooking some (should have done that today darn it), football, and maybe watching a movie. I have Moneyball to watch tonight.
Switch seems completely uninterested in the wet food we got for him.
I had a cat who only liked dry food, but I eventually I found some she'd eat. She was very picky about texture; it had to be in small bites. Adding a little chicken or tuna helps too.
I'm sorry about the additional stress, Tom.
