Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Brenda, might this help?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

JZ,

are you fucking serious? WTF?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Jebus, JZ. That is fucking wrong.

Ugh. I did all my taxes and e-filed them two days ago....and got one 1099 for miscellaneous income that I had COMPLETELY forgotten about today. GRRR. What do I do now??

I might have to refile too. My plan anyway was to wait for the initial refund to come through so as not to delay or screw with that.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

eta: Or is the state of California so desperate for money it's looking under the sofa cushions for unpaid parking tickets?

I'm pretty sure it's this. I'm also pretty sure that absolutely no protest will do a damn thing but ratchet up my blood pressure and that since that money is gone baby gone, I'm better off stomping around and cussing and punching the couch for a while and then just letting it go.

Possibly I should just channel my energy into vibing Tom Scola into showing up and checking in (and if he decides to, say, shock us all by flying to SF on the spur of the moment and checking in in person, THAT WOULD BE AWESOME).

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm here, I'm fine.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Okay, good. I totally understand if you don't feel like talking. Just checking up.

Our wings are not tired.

Damn, JZ. That is really wrong.. Good job with the Scola conjuring though!

not your mom's socks.

Ugh JZ, that's awful. I can't imagine what triggers something like that - and that there must be some statute of limitations.
