Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

To me he looks okay as a ginger but super-NOM as Sherlock. This may have to do with the fact that both my brothers have red hair, so redheads just don't ping my meter. He has wondrous blue eyes, that's for sure.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Consuela, it really sounds that by staying there you are setting yourself for a miserable day to day situation

Well, maybe. I need to talk to the XO and find out what he thinks. And, if I can get myself hired, I'm in a better spot job-wise because I can get access to all the internal positions nationwide.

Frankly, the best option would be if they could make me national program manager, but I'm not seeing a lot of traction for that at the moment.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

ISTG, the eyes sparkle.

Or maybe not. I shall have to LOOK SOME MORE to be sure.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Tom, I'm so sorry, at least about the unpleasantness and shock. I do hope this will turn out to be a good thing; give you time to explore other directions, and take some time to breathe. Like JZ, I hope you view this time through the lens of your camera--and share the result with us.

ita, I sympathize for the bad night, and send my condolences to you and your family for the loss.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Echoing what Beverly and others have said.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Earlier today, a coworker commented on how long I was washing my hands for. It wasn't even as long as I usually do! I think this may be why I don't get sick that much? But anyway, what the hell kind of thing is that to comment on? In general, I vote no comments at all in the bathroom.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

In general, I vote no comments at all in the bathroom.

So agreed!

Also, back to what Plei was saying about gel polish, I am 2 1/2 weeks into my gel manicure, and it's still perfect. Amazing.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Oh, Tom, I am so sorry. I know you've been wanting a change, but this is still a tough thing. 6 months is great and maybe will give you a chance to find a better place that really appreciates you.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Tom, I am really sorry. I hope this leads to something better.

Has Jilli seen this?

SWINTON as a vampire! I am ridiculously excited about it.
