Each year, around this time, I think, I need new bras. The Donna Karan I got from Bounce last year works well enough. My issue is being between cup sizes.

Congrats on the car.

Sara, I think you'll figure out a workable solution for you. I'd also think Australia in January of next year would be way more enjoyable as it's moving towards the end of their summer. I dont know how you accrue vacation, but it might be a good thing to rec?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Brief history of copyright infringement and campaign songs.

Probably more interesting to me because I sell content for a living.

Art Crawl!!!

Didn't Reagan do that with "Born in the USA"?

Yes - does that mean it's a tradition with Republican candidates now?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'd also think Australia in January of next year would be way more enjoyable as it's moving towards the end of their summer.

Pretty comfortably midsummer. January and February tend to be our warmest months.

If you do wind up coming to Australia, and for that matter if it's just your parents, I'd be happy to answer questions relating to planning. Where are they/you planning to go?

Not just the GOP - Obama had a C&D in 2008. (As did Palin, but it turned out her campaign had purchased a license.)

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Teppy, did you try and have no luck in Hyde Park square? They are having a big anniversary sale there.

I haven't gone there yet. Working across the street from the mall is really convenient, so I tend to go over there.

I'm pretty much over myself now. Hah.

I don't have any control over the date, early November, I think.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My sister texted me the news of the death in the family, and emailed me assuming I'd read it. Wow, that was a non-sequential punch in the stomach. It's not one I'm travelling for, for a diverse set of reasons, but it is hurting a number of people I care deeply about, as well as leaving me unsettled on a morning that was bad anyway.

I wonder if it was the text noises that woke me up in the middle of the night...it felt like my dream made me wake up (there was much screaming and sobbing) but you know how that goes.

I'm feeling sick day worthy right now, but I don't have that luxury.
