I'm pushing, they're not hearing. It's frustrating because...well, yeah. OH, car deets! Brother on chat must convey them to him!

Thrive to spite them

Yay for the car.

I couldn't figure out why she wouldn't want a more flattering bra, she wasn't showing cleavage or anything, they were just sitting where they should be.

Sara, I'm sure it's really frustrating when your parents aren't listening to/paying attention to where your life is right now.

I'm more in the - be firm and don't hurt your safety net - camp than go for it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Really, I feel ridiculous.

Well, the important thing is that you get some nookie with the tour guide somewhere south of Adelaide.

Oh, this is awesome:

Newt Gingrich has been using "Eye of the Tiger" at his campaign events (has the man no sense of taste? Even Dean Winchester is aware it's ridiculous!), but without permission!

Love it.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

sara, I'm not going to be helpful because I see both sides of the situation. I'm seriously contemplating the same thing this summer (LWOP) because I don't know how many more times I will get to be with my entire family in the same place. It could be Italy or it could be France, but the important thing is that we'll be together. I won't get into the drama regarding this with my current place of employment.

You're conservative with money, which I TOTALLY get, but my inclination is to deal with a little less of a cushion temporarily for what could be the memories of a lifetime.

ita !, congrats! I'm so happy you found something you like that was in your price range. Yay for new car!

'suela, I love a good dose of schadenfreude. I'm thinking that's a violation of SOPA, but of course Newt is special and above that petty copyright nonsense.

I see both side too and that I'm sure is a large part of my ire: I can't wholly take a side and be fucking decisive! Instead, I'm just bent.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm pleased with the purchase. I ended up putting $5K down on the card for the points, and financing the rest, with the understanding that I can pay it off in full when the first payment is due, with no penalty or accrued anything. So that was all board-informed, and shit. I did also let her sell me a warranty-lite, because I am a bit nervous about potential maintenance costs, but I feel okay with the idea that I can cancel that at any time.

Hey, is that Brady from SPN is on Alcatraz? He's so pretty. I full believe him and Sam had a thing.

I just need to fucking get over myself. To reiterate.
