We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I covet Kalinda's clothes

Me, too, but I would terrify all my coworkers if I ever showed up to work looking like that. It's a bit too much dangerous edge for my rather staid workplace.

I love Alicia & Diane's suits & dresses, too. They always look fab.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

They do. It's a very well costumed show. Wendy Scott Carr wasn't actually wearing gloves, was she? Her suit implied them, somehow.

Can't sleep. Not usually a problem, but my brain won't shut -up tonight. Guess I'll put some laundry in since I failed at that all day.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Luckily I wouldn't raise an eyebrow if I started dressing like Kalinda. Well, okay, that would only count as luck if somehow I had a closet full of her clothes. I only have one or two outfits to fake it with.

Mnnf. Insomnia and headache. Haven't decided which drugs to apply.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Most of my soft furniture I bought new, except for the futon in the guest room. Most of the tables and suchlike are hand me downs. I remember my grandpa refinishing one of the side tables when he came to visit us the summer I was 7 or so. My other grandpa made the cedar chest I use as a coffee table. They're probably my two favorite pieces of furniture.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

My roommate ordered a wonderful coffee table through Levenger's about ten years ago, and it's still in primo condition despite all we've (sometimes literally) thrown at it. Unfortunately I just checked their online catalog and they're no longer carrying them, alas.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I really liked "The Good Wife" too. It's been really entertaining in recent episodes. I could have done without the Eli subplot, but whatever. Small annoyance.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Honestly, my cheap-as-possible Ikea Lack coffee table is still in fine shape, ten years later. But I really want drawers. And am feeling flush.

Art Crawl!!!

Which Eli subplot? I liked the one with the 1st year . The other one was annoying (to me.)

I just love how the jury just didn't react at all the way Wendy Scott Carr expected.

Also - I don't think she was wearing gloves but yeah, they were kind of implied. (Perhaps she had taken off the kid gloves.)

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Oh, the Eli subplot that involved romance. I mean, really. If they are going to do that, bring on a woman he has chemistry with.
