Irish breakfast tea:
It occurred to me at the dog show that, other than skiing, I have rarely been at a public event that was quite so white. Other than one South Asian couple and one or two Asian families, I saw no one in the (quite large) crowd who wasn't white.
I knew that the dog business was predominantly female, but the whiteness was quite startling for the Bay Area.
I will say that media fandom has nothing on dog fandom for ugly chotchkes and badly-designed t-shirts and jewelry...
So now he thinks he's a golden retriever, and competes in obedience with his foster siblings. And his official name is something like "Forty Dollars to Freedom".
Aw.
The soup came out good, but kind of tastes like bought. I would make it again, but from scratch.

Heh. Irode in horse shows (Western) when I was young and have been to dog and cat shows. You ain't lyin', sister.

I am about to eat leftover butter chicken and watch Bridesmaids. I, um, got an Oscar review copy in the mail and mistakenly opened it without looking to see who it was addresses to. it didn't say OSCAR MAILING or anything; just "Here's your DVD of Bridesmaid's!" I thought I'd gotten on a mailing list or something.
I meant to send it to the person, but it was recycling day, and the envelope...anyway. I guess I accidently committed a felony. (I reallly DO feel wuite guilty about it, but I am going to watch it.)
Spent from wake-up to now working like CRAZY on a project for a client with a really time-sensitive deadline. I've been working on it a lot, so it's not like I was sloughing off (waiting for revisions and input from client, who is a GREAT client, so nice) but I have it all DONE and IN, and I am....DONE and IN for the night. Whew. Merde.
What kind of car?
Blue.
Also 2003 BMW 325i. Which, for some reason, has less than 60K miles.
I'm watching a terrible movie called DOA, and the most startling thing about it is Jaime Pressly handles herself pretty well. If she'd played Sarah in Chuck I mightn't have felt like she was being abused so much. She's still tiny, and everything, but she looks strong for her size, and she's definitely flexible, and segues into the wrestling moves well.
I don't know what to make of this.
eta: Aha! She's a former gymnast (11 years). Makes sense now.
I'm watching the movie where Rob Lowe plays the guy who killed two of his wives. It's so bad, and yet I'm into it.
OOH, furniture talk! I am getting some stuff from Costplus (world market) delivered next weekend [link] [link] and this [link]
and am considering this
[link]
The second and third links didn't work for me, but I like the others!
And now the movie is over, and I don't understand how they can make a movie about how he killed these two women when he hasn't been convicted. I guess because all the damning stuff was framed as other people's words?
Yeah, I couldn't get the second and third links to work, but the other two are cool.
I bought this at Target (shipped) to hold my Tivo and WiFi and DVDs. I love it.

Is that the one with the commercial that shows him outside of the garage saying "I'm untouchable, bitch" ? I was watching that commercial with my friend Randy, and I said "you know, if I had a crazy ex and I was in my garage and wierd shit was happening, I would get my ass in the house immediately and lock door."
