Punishingly Intricate

I have used Alba Botanica facial cleanser in the evening and gentle exfoliant in the morning for years. And a Mario Badescu glycolic cleanser once a week (when I remember) and moisturize with Badescu's aloe moisturizer and whatever Badescu eye cream I have a sample of (my friend carries Badescu at her makeup store so I get samples all the time). I don't use anything special for makeup removal, just regular cleanser.

I guess my face looks okay! Who knows?! I break out very rarely at least.

Our wings are not tired.

My immediate estimation of anyone who loves The Wire goes up about 120% from baseline.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm pretty sure "mentions the Wire" is a bonus or qualifier or gold star or however you want to phrase it.

The first interaction I had with Bob was when he rsvped to our friends' baby shower, that I was co-hosting, saying that he'd be coming "dressed as Omar."

Me too!! He is pretty awesome. His love of the Wire also really helped ingratiate him with my family, too.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would be A-OK with a guy who talked about The Wire on a first date.

Nice, Theo!

I like this anti-acne/anti-wrinkle stuff from Neutrogena that is a pain to find. I've got a heavier neutro moisturizer for spots. That, dove soap and a benzyl perox face wash. I'm too lazy to try harder.

Of course, right now, my skin is such a fucking mess from all the tearing and drops. My nose and upper lip are practically alligator skin. (Mess with the eyes and all that sinus stuff gets involved and it was a swollen mess.) My upper lip was totally a duck lip this weekend, and the skin shows the strain. So add to the beauty routine: aquaphor, which is basically just overpriced vaseline (now that I know, I'll just stick with the cheap shit.)

My eye is a little foggy, but that might be the drops/healing. Something to watch. BUT IT DOESN"T FUCKING HURT. This is so key. I think I'm going to try working tomorrow. If it doesn't work, eh. The cats will certainly miss me. They've slept on me in various configurations for 3 days straight. Devi's been downright cuddly!
