I think I might be able to drive later today (fog and rain certainly won't help the eyestrain issue, so hopefully will go away!) And I'm up to 10 minute stretches of reading. As long as I don't reopen the injury with a bad blink.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I just had the urge to write a recommendation for my manager on LinkedIn. I'm beginning to worry I'm a reflexive ass-kisser. However, I totally won't write one until my evaluation is complete.
The first thing I see when I come in to work today? The binders that my co-worker was trying to push me into working late to finish last week sitting on a table, unshipped. So it was vitally important that I have them printed and ready to ship out by EOD Thursday, but not important that she actually ship them to the recipients. @@ ∞
sumi, I saw an interview with the woman who did all the teeny tiny knitting for Coraline. So awesome!
Matt - doesn't that make you feel sooo special?
damn Matt.
I might want to slap someone.
The english muffins I bought on Friday to keep in my office have gone moldy already! So I guess that piece of toast with peanut butter I ate at 7:30 was all the breakfast I'm getting.
I also left Aeryn with the babysitter this morning even though she had an elevated temperature (it's not a fever until it hits 100.4!). God I hope it's just teething. I can't handle a sick kid right now.
Yeah. To be fair, she's good in a pinch and works late herself, but tends to fret and nanny other people for stuff while dragging things out on her own responsibilities. And I do not report to her; we're at the same level on the org chart and she's the full time employee with least seniority in this office.
Of course, I wasn't having any of it last week, knowing that I could get the work done in normal business hours. She stopped by Wednesday to tell me it was OK if some stuff wasn't finished til the next day, and I barely held back from saying aloud "I wasn't asking for permission to clock out for the day, I was telling you that I'm doing so."
OMG!!
Um, the written job offer is in. and um. It's for $15K more than my minimum, which JESUSITA! can you say debt free living in 6 months.
