We're having venison tenderloin, garlic mashed potatoes, and asparagus. So...dinner in the 50s in rural Kansas?
Yum!
I am going to put the rest of the sprouts in farro tomorrow, maybe after a little more roasting. They were the little frozen ones from TJ's, and I'm not that thrilled with how they came out.
I have a pot pie in the oven that I made from scratch. Later I may make scones.
I have a frozen pizza in the oven. I took the plastic off with my own hands.
We're having ham & swiss sandwiches, chips and edamame--so, dinner in a house with some pretty lazy people?
Man, I love pot pie. Why don't I eat it more??
Frozen pizza was last night.
Edit: Weird. My post didn't show up, until it did.
I'm having semi leftovers. yesterday I sauted some turnip greens and black eye peas together and had it with some cheese and microwave rice. Now I'm going to poach a chicken breast and added to reheated lefovers. Depending on how much rice there is I may make some stove top stuffing.
I am having homemade black bean burritos for the 4th night in a row. They are my healthier than pizza lazy food.
We just had arugula quesadillas for late lunch (what, we got up a bit after 11AM). And I think dinner is going to be leftover pot roast, potatoes, and carrots.
I really, REALLY want some rustic bread and butter. Stupid gluten-free diet. I also want cupcakes of emotional soothing, but we've still got a lot of snow, so I can't whine at Pete to go to Cupcake Royale and get me some GF cupcakes. So I'm going to sit here on the couch, sip my coffee, and sulk.
Carnitas, from the slow cooker, bitches!
