Today I got an email from another Admin, who listed her name as "First Name Last Name, BA" Now I want to do it just to be silly!
My dad had business cards with "BA, LLB" after his name. I used to cross out the "LL" and write in "aracus" at the end.
This is why I think I need some magical computer program that will remind me every day to do things like 15-minute cleaning blocks, drinking water and giving the dog his pills. It should have alarms and possibly nagging and should also track my consistency.
I'm pretty sure that exists. You'd just have to skim a couple pages of Lifehacker to find it.
You could totally make appts on a calendar device and get it to send reminders.
iCal can do the alarms and possibly the nagging.
You can be notified of a pending reminder by setting one or more alerts for it using iCal. You can set alerts to make a sound, flash a notice on the screen, or perform other actions.
I have to remind Dan all the time that if, the dishwasher has space in it, to PLEASE put his dirty dishes right in there, and not on the counter or the sink.
And I have seriously though about labeling the shelves in the kitchen because, although he is quite amenable to sharing chores like putting the clean dishes away, HE PUTS SHIT IN THE WRONG PLACES. This is my pet peeve (Virgo) but it drives me batshit. The colander? it doesn't go THERE...!
