What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Web Protests Piracy Bills, and 2 Senators Change Course:

Members of Congress, many of whom are grappling with the issues posed by the explosion in new media and social Web sites, appeared caught off guard by the backlash to what had been a relatively obscure piece of legislation to many of them.

Glad it seems to have actually done some good!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I have a recipe for whole wheat cottage cheese pancakes that I keep forgetting to try. I didn't make them this morning, either.

I am futless. I have an hour before I need to leave for work. I've gathered all my students' papers. I've eaten lunch. It's not enough time to watch tv. I finished my major admin task yesterday, although I've got plenty more to do. The housework is all on hold because until the propane comes later today I won't have hot water.

Always Anti-fascist!

sometimes I just like to think I annoy them, Tep. Sometimes, it's good enough. (No need to apologize, here. Arizona. Which makes me want a t-shirt that says "I know...it's awful." on the front. and "we're not all stupid," on the back.)

Always Anti-fascist!

Although mostly, I want the cafepress t-shirt from Big Bang that says "I'm not insane...my mother had me tested.' Unless it's too meta if I wear it.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Nice to know the Supreme Court can occasionally still serve the interests of justice rather than political party: [link]

Now tagless for your comfort.

Nice to see Scalia and Thomas still being giant dicks.

I initially mashed all that together and was like, what, Tom Scola is not a giant dick!

Nice to see Scalia and Thomas still being giant dicks.

Did you expect any less? At least it was in dissent.

Some people are beyond redemption. I really don't understand on what basis Scalia and Thomas usually interpret the law.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I really don't understand on what basis Scalia and Thomas usually interpret the law.

The basis is they want to be poopie-headed meanies.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I really don't understand on what basis Scalia and Thomas usually interpret the law.

The basis is that Scalia has no heart. Thomas has no brain, so he just signs off on whatever Scalia says.
