Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm sorry, Perkins.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am also so sorry, Perkins.

Can someone explain to me in small words what this SOPA/PIPA thing is? I feel like I have a vague understanding and that it will be bad, but I are confused by what exactly it is attempting to do, because everything I read seems to be about what it will do inadvertently.

ETA: I actually kind of figured it out- turns out reading the wikepedia article is more informative than the icanhascheezburger article, go figure.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Cats are terrible resources for intellectual property issues.

Sure. When you start from a premise of "everything is mine", it's a little hard to get the nuances.

I'm so sorry, Perkins. Also, my best to Scrappy. It's been hard to be a pet's human lately.

Yesterday's little NPR story interviewed Mark Lemley, an IP professor who is now at Stanford, and who I will always remember as the man who brought the best bottle of wine I've ever had to a party. His wife's job was (and still might be) being Google's #1 corporate lawyer, so it was a bottle of wine I could never, ever afford.
