Lorne: Once the word spreads you beat up an innocent old man, well, the truly terrible will think twice before going toe-to-toe with our Avenging Angel. Spike: Yes. The geriatric community will be soiling their nappies when they hear you're on the case. Bravo.

So, is Tim involved in American Horror Story?

Because books.

He's a producer and writer on it.

It's sleeting here, which is NOT what I ordered.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

It's 53 right now. It was 43 when I walked the dog this afternoon. It is getting WARMER. WHAT THE HELL, WEATHER.

Also, Amy, I should post this in your LJ, but I'm here, so -- you had posted about reading The Luxe, right? That made me go check it out, and I have now burned through the first 2 books and have the next 2 sitting next to me ready to be read. They're like crack!

I didn't know that. I guess I'll have to give it another chance. I really didn't like the first episode at all. Does it get better?

Try to get through the Halloween eps. If you don't like it by then, it's probably not for you.

Total crack! And not bad crack! I mean, not totally execrable writing! I was surprised.

I'm not quite done with the second, because I had to write bonus scenes for Cold Kiss for the paperback, but I'm close. I love Diana.

HOW CLOSE?

Seriously.

Also, I kinda hate everyone except Diana, but I KEEP READING. I blame my Edith Wharton love.

YES.

Let's see, Henry just saw the news piece about Diana and the various boys she's been seen with. So actually just about 3/4 through.

OH! Did you know Libba Bray's new series is set in the 1920s? And will have witchcraft or something again? I'm aflutter with anticipation. And my mom just tore through A Great and Terrible Beauty, and I delivered the next two books to her today at her insistence.
