Speaking of Tom Hardy, and aren't we always? I just watched Warrior the other day, and my thoughts are DEEPLY IMPURE.
There's a moment where he's -- wait, is it a spoiler to mention something that's only on screen for a second in a film that came out last year?
I think more fancy pants events with buffistas in tow and more buffistas making celebrities talk to me on their phones.
THIS.
ION, printer is set up, worky-things are printed out and I am NOT recovered from flu from hell -- I am stupid-tired.
I will get up early (for me) and get hella work done. Ugh. I haven't eaten, but am nauseated still. Maybe saltines?
(Opps, sorry. It's become a running joke with my locals that I like them flirty....and far away.)
Hah--I do recall some stories from you, missy.
I've actually gotten to the point where my clothes are almost all packed. I think I may do that with my laundry basket and shoes tomorrow though.
Laundry baskets are your friends, when it comes to that! Also, I have an extra one and use it either for clean clothes, or at the moment "clothes that are getting donated".
A friend walked over and we went to have a drink and ended up getting food too. Mmm--hot apple cider with rum, and truffled mac and cheese, and a warm spinach salad with bacon and egg and carmelized onions. Mmmm.
But now I am home and a bit tipsy, and realize I need to prep for my visit tomorrow and Tuesday, and I really don't want to. OTOH, I definitely don't want to get up earlier than 5AM tomorrow, to do it.
People have laundry baskets? I'm so developmentally delayed. I use army surplus laundry bags.
Then again, never owned a "proper" mattress either.
I have too many clothes. Like, seriously. In all sizes from 10 to 22. And most of them are packed away, and since most days no one sees me but the grocery store clerk, I generally wear my same favorite ten or so things all the time. I need to cull closets. And the really sad thing is, I've ALREADY culled closets! I think I have a problem.
So my sister came back with pressies for me, which almost make up for the crazy dogs and crazy parents. She actually got me a leather jacket in Portugal! It's all hip and red-brown and snug. And merino wool tights, and chocolate.
Now I'm going to drink decaf tea with honey and whiskey in it, and watch some more Community. My life, so exciting.
decaf tea with honey and whiskey in it
That's the best idea I've heard in days.
Ooh, a leather jacket sounds awesome! You definitely deserve nice things for putting up with those dogs!
Zen, I admit, I probably kept way more than I should have--but a fair bit of it is stuff that will fit if I just lose 5-10 pounds. I only kept a few things in sizes smaller than that. (Like the infamous red dress, which I still have)

Did you wear that to the first F2F? Or at least one of the F2Fs I was at? I feel like I remember the red dress from being there in person.
I think that was the first one.
