I had been wondering why the mall and Target were deserted. Oh yeah, game day. Good thing I didn't plan on going downtown.

I tried to find a replacement camera and some shoes this morning. I failed in all my ventures.

I could clean up clutter. I don't wanna.

The status is NOT quo.

I am also overwhelmed by the sheer scope of what needs to be done. Coping mechanism fail.

I did a lot of organizing and deciding (sorting clothes) yesterday, but was planning to take things to donate and for drycleaning and some hemming today...but it's snowing here so I don't think I can drive anywhere. Grrr. (Tomorrow I am flying to SoCal for work)

I am working on the front living room. It is too cluttered. Too much paper, too many knick-knack. I think today I will toss out a small box worth of paper and gather up a box of things to get rid of.

I also plan to hang some pictures today.

I am listening to the game and wallowing in feeling crappy. I do need to run some laundry, though. Maybe at halftime.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

A fascinating article: Synthetic biology and the rise of the 'spider-goats'

Spider-goats are goats that have spider DNA spliced into them. Their milk contains spider silk, which can be used to repair ligaments in humans.

eta: No word on what a spider-goat tastes like.
