I'm a single undead gal trying to make it in the big city. I have to start somewhere and they're evil here. They don't judge. They've got necro-tempered glass. No burning up. A great medical plan, and who needs dental more than us?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah it is. I might need a beer if we ever actually get to halftime.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Have a beer minus-t!

Thanks, I think I will! I hope that doesn't impact my counted cross-stitch too badly.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm making chili, and I think some alcohol will be called for to accompany it.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

goodwill stores and estate sales are good places to find crock pots.

I think I might be giving that a shot. I paid less than $10 for the one I have and that was a dozen years ago? How am I seeing slow cookers that are hundreds of dollars? I'm not sure I am willing to spend more than $20.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Target is not a bad source for slow cookers $25 and under.

In other news: Olympia, Washington; the White Death is now falling from the sky.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Boom - stole it again!

That was just careless of Sproles. You can't hold onto the ball one handed like that when the Niners are converging on you.

Jesus, niners, where's the pass protection.

Offense is useless. They need to get a TD here.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

More ways for people to kill each other or something else?

Maybe fewer ways? Ways of protecting yoursefl, making an arms escalation?

I think of the technology application being on the numbercrunching and prediction side, and who can get into a tontine and who can't etc. And then there are generational tontines, etc, and pretty much just playing that game.

Is it true that the payoffs for the tontine were just the investment profit? The capital wasn't distributed, ever.
