Thrive to spite them

I let my apartment get really bad, I think I was dealing with some seasonal stuff I wasn't expecting. And now I'm feeling more energetic but I'm moving at a snails pace. A slow snail.I've got most of my yarn organized, most of the dishes done, and some things put into the storage area. I keep telling myself any kind of forward momentum is better than sliding back.

Punishingly Intricate

I keep telling myself any kind of forward momentum is better than sliding back.

It's true!!

I don't know why I can never figure out meat thermometers. I never trust them or trust myself to figure out where to stick them.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Wow, interesting football game with Pittsburgh and Denver.

Also, Atlanta lost. I am gloating.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

mmm eggplant parmesan

It's not the traditional version, because coating something in egg & flour, then pan-frying it? Not something I can indulge in right now. So instead it will be roasted eggplant, spinach, tomato sauce, and cheese.

I keep telling myself any kind of forward momentum is better than sliding back.

Very true!

I just found a pile of mail from November. Thankfully, no overdue bills, but yeash. I get so bad about mail around the holidays.

I'd like my swim times back. I'm sure part of it was the Ick, but damnit, I want my 55/56 pace back.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm back in Pennsylvania now, and I'm freezing. This house is so ridiculously drafty. I've got insulated curtains on the big window, which helps a lot, but there's still cold coming in.

Trust my rage

I have the nail polish box but I am not sure where to send it next. Is there a list somewhere? If I don't send it before the baby comes, it could get stuck and never get out of this house.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

More dishes done, another bill paid, rough menu plan created. I did not go to the pharmacy or grocery - those are going to have to wait for tomorrow after work. I'm baking two potatoes, soaking black beans to cook tomorrow, and defrosting some soup in the fridge.

Stephanie, I finally found the soccer hair bows for Ellie, but I lost your address. Will she play again next year? Do you still want them? Sorry for the delay (also please to email me your address).

Trust my rage

Kat, she might even play int the spring. I haven't decided yet if I will have the energy. Frisco is old enough now too but they are on opposing days which just seems unfair to me, the parent.
