I'm sorry, dad. You know I would never have tried to save River's life if I had known there was a dinner party at risk.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I have a very pretty bruise, that's for sure.

I like turquoise, but am not a floppy hat kind of person.

I know I don't count as a fan and I did boycott most of the season, but I am watching the AUGHH FOOTBALL. Which is more whoot football at the moment.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Yes, that was quite a pretty pass.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Woot, indeed.

I am lame because I can't get up the oomph to drive 4 hours roundtrip to see a good friend (source of Mister Kitty) for 2 hours tomorrow. (She's in Del for a wedding.) But she's only in Knoxville, so not like my only chance to see her. She closes on a house at the end of the month, so there may need to be a weekend trip to see the new house. And demand one of her, since she hasn't seen this one either.

And I now finally have her cell, so there will be more talking.

I've still got so much I'd like to get done this weekend. I've already shopped and cleaned, but also want to see if I can fix my water damaged (from the 2010 blizzards) walls myself, get a non-400lb winter coat (current is warm....and bloody heavy, and from 45 lbs ago, so awfully large. I'll keep it for when I really need it) and replace my camera. And shoes. I was mocked for wearing my crocs with socks (not the usual crocs, these: [link] ) Some cursory leaf-gathering.

And I'm dithering on coats. A warm dress coat or a knee length quilted/puffy one that'd be super lightweight?

Dang!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I honestly always fall on the side of warm dressy coat. Though I've never lived anywhere truly cold for long periods of time.

but I am watching the AUGHH FOOTBALL.

I think I turned it on cause I miss my dad and I'd guess this is what he has on right now. I am totally lost on the season but I know the basic rules of football so I can follow the game, just not what it ~means~ or what should be happening based on historical data.

Like my brother watches racing.

Except I know not to talk too much. Or ask questions when I don't care about the answers.

I just don't want anything heavy or too bulky. I HAVE that. It's a love/hate relationship.

I'd rather layer.

I wanna kick Stafford's ass in a dark alley. And I think I could. Is that so wrong?

Not me, to goddamned much time. It's for wearing to get from point A to B. There is something comical about barely having room in a locker at the gym for all the damned clothes you have on (and you are changing into a swimsuit) or knocking over the cube wall with the bulk of your outerwear....
