Oh, about moths! I got some kind of sticky hormone trap at the pet store and it worked! But I feel like someone here tried that and it didn't work. Worked for me, though.
I had clothing moths and they were everywhere. Mostly in my bedrooms and the basement. I washed every piece of fabric that I could wash (and some that I shouldn't have...my LR curtains shrank 2 inches.) Cedar and lavender oil did nothing. The pheromone traps caught a few (they only catch males), but after a few months there were still some fluttering around every day. I finally got some bug spray and basically fogged the basement with it, shut the door for a few days and that seems to have done the trick. I am not 100% they won't come back next summer...I will be keeping my eye out.
If they do, I'd suggest a pet chameleon or bullfrog.
I recommend nesting Say's Phoebes, myself. The pair on the deck seemed to seriously reduce our moth population.
Only stuff for the house, msbelle, I promise. New rug and curtain rod.
Unless you count cat food, but even some of that is staying here.
I will do the boxes when I get home, too
ok, since I am getting to be all bossy and feeling good helping, I am going to do stuff also. I am putting up the Tree.
Well, back from the post office and grabbing some lunch.
Man, I really feel that I should be able to walk to the post office without getting exhausted. It's ridiculous.
Are there bicycles out there for giant out of shape people without good balance? You know, so I could maybe get back into shape without screwing up my feet more?
stationary bikes.
oh Jesusita, "Daleks in New York". Yuck. Just Yuck.
So consensus on Martha? I am only 3 eps in.
Have you tried any bikes, sumi? You don't have to have great balance once you get a bit of speed.
Eta: I'd recommend checking women's cruisers [link] if you can get one the right size so you can put a foot down easily, it helps a lot with the falling down anxiety.
