Sophia, that is a crazy story.

I am still home sick. This is really, really bad timing because today we are starting a "race the demo" project. My supvr took the crew out there, and none of them have ever seen the project before, and two of my stronger members are still on other crews . Bleccch. And I had to cancel some other stuff, which pissed off some people.

It's nice to be important, I guess?

I am attempting oatmeal with a splash of half and half and a wee bit of brown sugar. Wish me luck.

I am up earlier than I'd like. I have 4 more days of vacation then a sick day. During this week, I've been to a doctor's office 3 times (once for me, once for Noah and once for Grace). Also my doc finally (FINALLY) prescribed high blood pressure meds. It's been at 150/95 for about 3 years, give or take. Der.

I overslept just a little, and technically I could still leave on time, but I have the feeling I may be a little late, because I need more time for the coffee to work.

I still have my stupid head cold, so I'm working from home today. No one at the office needs to listen to me and my phlegm symphony.

I've been up for an hour, but no coffee yet. I need my coffee STAT.

Last night was sleep torture. Isaac showed up and tried to get in our bed starting around 12:30. Was turned away 5 times. Cody finally went and lay down with him until he fell asleep, then came back to bed. THEN Franny shows up at 2:30 to try and get in bed with us, and I turn her away. 3 times. So I go lie down with her for a bit and come back to bed. But then I can't fall asleep, so I get up to get another melatonin and Franny gets out of bed to follow me back to my room and ask me to lie with her again, which I do. Then I go back to bed, fall asleep, only to awakened by BOTH kids angling to get into our bed. It's now 4 am of course, so I give up, let them in and move to Isaac's bed. Oy!
