I have a feeling this is yet another flavor of the week on the inevitable path to Romney, the candidate that nobody really wants.
Though bear in mind that as a political pundit my track record for predictions is dubious at best.
I had managed to forget that Santorum was running.

I'm sure someone already said this, but it's really key to note that Santorum heavily focused on Iowa, and Iowa doesn't actually matter.

Obama is making a recess appointment
About damn time. He should fill all his vacancies that way, including all those damned judicial vacancies. It's shameful the way they've been left standing open.
I saw an article comparing recess appointments across presidents and Obama is WAY WAY under previous recent presidents.
