Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Aggravated that I am at work today and therefore unable to watch the Winter Classic live. DH is DVRing it for me, but it won't be the same. NHL, what were you thinking? (And don't say football.)

Of course, I wouldn't be bitching if I didn't have to work today, but such is my new reality as a slave.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Man, this Steve Jobs doll is really creepy. They'll really be mass producing that thing with such accurate detail? $100 doesn't seem out of control, if you're already the sort of person that buys dolls of real people, just because it's so damned good.

But instead they have to compete with NCAA stuff. Winter Classic is not on at home as K took N to a bar (?!?!) to watch it. I couldn't object too strongly because I went to yoga instead.

I only want a Steve Jobs doll is I can also get a perfect-likeness Bill Gates doll so that I can enact creepy RPS with dolls.

Or you know. NOT.

I've heard of worse.

It's just lousy timing all around, and I'm slightly peeved that I'm sitting in the office doing nothing, because everyone I'd need to talk to is OFF FOR THE FEDERALLY-OBSERVED HOLIDAY. Ahem.

Because books.

I just made an appointment with a therapist who came highly recommended by a friend who is one of the school district psychologists. Our insurance (yay insurance) should cover some of it, but even if they don't, it's $75 for the initial appointment, and only $60 per session thereafter. Seems really reasonable to me, but I also wouldn't go every week (I don't think).

Amy, I'm glad you found a therapist. You may want to go weekly for a while, depending on how the first few sessions go. That can be one topic of discussion.

One last day of being a slug. My house is pretty clean, so CJ and I are kicking back and watching movies.

I'm going Thursday, which seems ... way too soon. But best to get it over with, I guess. First-time appointments always make me feel like I'm auditioning or something.
